The idea of ÄNG is simple. We work with what’s right outside our door and refine it to its greatest potential. Many of the ingredients you will find in our dishes are freshly picked from nearby forests, meadows and fields every morning. Vegetables are grown right next to the restaurant and the lambs play around on our farm just next door.
Head chef Filip Gemzell leads the creative work at Restaurant ÄNG. Together with his colleagues, he works closely with local producers, hunters, and fishermen to learn more about the local landscape.
ÄNG serves selected wines and beverages, where some are produced at Ästad Vinyard or by other local producers in the area. We also serve wines from Europe that match the cultivation criteria at Ästad Vingård, with focus on sustainability.
Due to current restrictions, seating times are slightly earlier than usual.
