Ästad Vingård values your privacy and always protects your personal data with the technical and organisational measures required in each individual case, ensuring that all processing is carried out in accordance with applicable law.

HOW ÄSTAD VINGÅRD OBTAINS YOUR DATA

In situations such as newsletter subscriptions, quotation requests and confirmations, customer surveys, or table reservations, you provide some form of information to Ästad Vingård.

Occasionally, Ästad Vingård may also receive personal data from sources other than yourself. This may include companies that handle bookings, or from SPAR and other public registers, for purposes such as credit checks or address updates.

EXAMPLES OF DATA WE PROCESS

Name, email address, telephone number, postal address, occupation/position, purchase history, feedback from customer surveys, and more.

You may, on your own initiative, choose to provide Ästad Vingård with additional personal data that you consider relevant, either for security reasons and/or to allow us to tailor our services to you — for example: allergies, dietary preferences, health conditions, and similar information.

If you choose to do so, Ästad Vingård will regard this as consent to record and store such sensitive information in your profile.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

Ästad Vingård processes your personal data in order to fulfil our services to you — for example, booking hotel rooms, reserving tables in the restaurant, registering for a vineyard tour, and/or sending relevant offers that we believe may be of interest to you, or when you have given your consent for us to process your data.

In short, we use your information to provide good service and to ensure that we can contact you if something unforeseen occurs.

In certain cases, Ästad Vingård may require your consent to process your personal data. When you provide consent in such cases, you will always receive clear and transparent information about what you are consenting to.

Your personal data are used by Ästad Vingård and our booking managers for the hotel and restaurant.

We do not disclose personal data to other companies unless required to do so by law, regulation, or official decision, or in order to protect our own rights or the rights of third parties.

We never forward, sell, or exchange your personal data for marketing purposes with any third party outside of Ästad Vingård.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right, at any time (free of charge once per year), to request information about which personal data we have stored about you. Your request must be made in writing, personally signed, and include your name and personal identity number. We require this information to ensure that the data are disclosed to the correct individual.

Send your request for an extract from the register, information, or correction of inaccurate data to:

Ästad Vingård AB, Ästad 11, 432 77 Tvååker.

We cannot delete data that constitute public records or where there is a statutory requirement for retention, such as under accounting regulations. Nor can we delete data when there are legitimate reasons for retaining them, for example in the case of unpaid debts.

You may at any time withdraw your consent for us to use your data for marketing purposes. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), which is the supervisory authority for the processing of personal data.
