Everyone should be able to enjoy Ästad Vingård. Here we have gathered the most requested information on how the facility is adapted for those with mobility impairments or other needs.
PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
✓ Ästad Vineyard has a total of 7 parking spaces for guests with mobility impairments.
✓ All parking areas are paved.
✓ The reception has paved areas for temporary stops during check-in and check-out.
✓ All walkways (except up to the vineyard and Logen's courtyard) are paved.
SINNENAS SPA
✓ Accessible toilets for the disabled.
✓ Handrails at steps/stairs leading down to the indoor pool and outdoor pool.
✓ Low/no thresholds at indoor sauna environments.
The underwater sauna, Mill sauna, Lake sauna, and Steam sauna are not adapted for wheelchair users.
There is no elevator down to the pond or pools.
Guide dogs are not permitted in Sinnenas Spa.
RESTAURANT LOGEN
✓ Ramp for wheelchairs at the entrance and inside the restaurant.
✓ Accessible toilet for the disabled.
To reach the entrance of Logen, you need to cross a courtyard with firm gravel (approximately 20 meters) that slopes gently upwards.
ROOMS
✓ All Kvarnbäcken & Stenbacka rooms have normal-height thresholds indoors, about 3 cm.
✓ There is an elevator to all Kvarnbäcken rooms.
✓ The room can be prepared with a shower stool and a special seat for the WC.
Ästad Vingård does not have specific rooms for the disabled.
There are no arm supports for the toilets in the rooms.
The Bäckstugorna cottages have a 15 cm threshold at the entrance.

VINEYARD
The vineyard is not adapted for wheelchair users, and the terrain varies with the season and weather.

CONFERENCE ROOMS
All conference rooms except for LOFTET are accessible by wheelchair.
The conference rooms SAND, STEN, and JORD are located on the ground floor adjacent to the hotel lobby. There is an elevator between the hotel room corridor and the lobby.
OUR RECOMMENDATION
Kvarnbäcken Superior is the most accessible room at Ästad Vineyard.
The room is located in the same building as Sinnenas Spa and is easily accessible via an elevator from the ground floor. The toilet lacks armrests but has a dresser close by. In the shower, which also functions as a steam sauna, there is a sitting bench.
