Ästad Vingård is set in the beautiful Åkulla beech forests, an area with several nature reserves, lakes and a wide range of walking trails. The Hallandsleden trail runs through the forests, and there are routes to suit everyone. Our walking package includes everything you might need for a lovely day exploring the woods, as well as lunch at Logen.

Thanks to the Swedish Right of Public Access (Allemansrätten), we all have the opportunity to enjoy nature. When spending time in forests and natural areas, it’s important to remember that someone owns the land you’re on. Here are a few guidelines that are good to keep in mind:

Show respect for landowners and their property. Avoid disturbing animals, damaging fences, or approaching houses and farms. Take your trash with you, avoid lighting fires where it might damage the ground or forest, and respect cultivated land. Park responsibly so you don’t block roads, driveways, or turning areas — these are often needed for agriculture and forestry. Stick to trails and marked paths where possible. Thank you!
