Step into the glass house and let Restaurant ÄNG take you on a wonderful tasting experience through Halland and out into the world. The dinner is served as a tasting menu with the option of ordering the ÄNG beverage package or selected wines from the wine cellar.

ANN-CATRINE & FILIP GEMZELL

The creative work at Restaurant ÄNG is led by Ann-Catrine & Filip Gemzell. Together with their team, they explore the local landscape and work closely with local producers, hunters, and fishermen who share ÄNG’s philosophy on sustainability and organic farming.

ÄNG has received several accolades for its work. Since 2021, the restaurant has held one Michelin Star and has been recognised as a Michelin Guide Mindful Voice for its dedicated commitment to sustainability. ÄNG is also KRAV-certified with two stars and has been awarded three rings by the sustainable dining guide 360° Eat Guide.

The beverage pairing consists of selected wines from Europe, as well as wines produced at Ästad Vingård. ÄNG also serves a non-alcoholic pairing, where all beverages have been produced at the restaurant.

TASTING BREAKFAST AT ÄNG

Tuesdays to Saturdays, ÄNG serves a tasting breakfast in the glass house. The breakfast menu is based on Nordic breakfast tradition, its flavors, and local ingredients, but draws inspiration from different corners around the world.

Tasting breakfast at ÄNG is included in the ÄNG package, but can also be booked with an upgrade in our other packages. The breakfast can also be booked separately on ÄNG’s website, if you don’t stay over night at Ästad Vingård.

The tasting breakfast will take approximately 1,5 hours of your time.

OPENING HOURS

From 19 June to 12 July, ÄNG will be closed for its annual summer break, allowing the team to enjoy a few well-deserved weeks of holiday. ÄNG looks forward to welcoming guests back from 13 July.
