At restaurant ÄNG we explore Halland county’s flavors and raw materials from the forests, meadows, lakes and surrounding farms. The tasting menu changes in the same pace as the changing seasons and the current harvest. The creative process is led by head chef Filip Gemzell who, together with his chefs and sommelier present a genuine Halland inspired tasting menu with local drinks and wines from around the world. The menu is either in 8 or 11 servings depending on your own preferences.
After eight years of work at ambitious restaurants in London, Filip Gemzell decided to move to the remote island of Svalbard in the North Sea. At Restaurang Huset he got the chance to explore the raw materials in the barren arctic nature. Today Filip leads the work at restaurant ÄNG and is tasting his way through the west coast county of Halland. With witty creativity and craftmanship, he refines the coastal and inland raw materials into a tasting menu inspired by the beloved Halland county.
